Why you shouldn't be able to play champions for the first time in ranked

I just played a game as Vladimir top lane against and pantheon. My mid laner was a first time ori and in champ select she said, "I want to try out ori" she laned against a yasuo. I told her to be passive because yas is strong but she fed out of her mind. she was so unknowledable with her champ that she tried to ult the team but her ball was on her beacuse she sheilded herself. I left lane 3/1/1 and yasuo was 6/2/3. even though i was fed i couldn't do anything against this yasuo. I told ori to now play champions she has never played in a ranked game ever again but guess what..... I'm the asshole.

I will admit. I think I lost my first ever game with Sona in ranked. But I won my second.

Note: I play them in Coop vs AI but that doesn't count.

I lose my first ever Blitzcrank game in ranked too =\ but we actually won lane. It was our AD Kata who fed Syndria.

I just don't have time for normals in my false-believing mind. I read up on the champion (used to read more, not many guides recently). And try them out in AI. But sometimes the champ makes sense, or the game is low stakes for me. Sorry team.
