Varus or Jhin
Im not sure who I want to buy. I prefer to play aggressive mid game champions but i'm not sure which to get. Help?

The OG sniper. Capable of mid, bot, and ap - and if you wanna know how ap's actually not troll hmu.
He has 3 ap ratios in his kit - w and r. R deals 100% ap and w gives him 25% ap ratio on hit and - the most important thing 2% max hp dmg per 100 ap on his blight stacks. This makes it so that proccing 3 stacks with an ability will do over 30% of an opponent's max hp at 250 ap on top of the 40% ap dmg you're doing each auto attack with 
. Now, because w is more of a mid~late game ability and because of it's decent base damage, you can max q first and start with 
, giving your early game a good poke and wave clear. This combined with your long auto attack range makes it so that you can safely last hit with little fear of retaliation. Oh, and R's snare makes for the best jungler deterrent. I personally enjoy 
as a first item rush. Health prevents death via burst and mana is.. well.. mana.
End of the day, the tankier the meta gets, the better AP Varus should be.
