Tower backstabbing
What if you can "backstab" tower pre-14min for bonus dmg? I'm thinking something like hitting the back 90° arc for 25/50% more dmg. Yes you have go over extend a lot for that. Good high risk/reward yes?

It seems more like a "win more" mechanic since the only time you would do that is when the enemy laners are dead / had to back because you bullied them.
Also the plates floating infront of the tower arnt physically blocking it from taking damage, they are more like a magical enchantment that gives the tower defensive stats upon being used up (when tower takes a threshold of damage) at the cost of giving the attackers gold.
