Positional Ranked System might be the worst system Riot Games has implemented in League's lifespan

I have been playing since season 3 and have been loving every minute of grinding the ranked ladder hoping to get my main and if not "oh well" I will do my best in whichever lane I am left with and I will try to win. However, with the new positional ranked system this completely ruins the fun of ranked. I have never once been more frustrated with League than I am today. I find myself encountering entire enemy teams of people playing their main roles whereas my team is off-role and focused on "trying new things" which is an excuse for Urgot support, lux jungle, etc. because they know if they happen to win on their off-role they gain a whopping 3 lp on their main role and if they lose "ah man that is too bad" (sarcasm). This promotes toxic gameplay in every single game. There is no reward for try-harding on an off-role because it barely effects one's main role. In the old system of course you would have plenty of teammates off role, but they would still try their hardest because they would get the lp gain for their entire account not just some role they play every 1 out of 5 games. Solo queue was really about who was the best player and to be the best player you could be flexible and switch roles and in this system you really can't and instead get people who don't try when they are off-roled because they are going to waste energy, brain power, and have a mental toll on them for what a maybe 3 Lp gain on their main. Pathetic. In my honest opinion I really think that Riot Games has messed up extremely with this system. I for one am probably gonna hold off on ranked for at least a month or two until Riot fixes something. I am not even mentioning the horrendous matchmaking that occurs in these games. I was placed in mid Gold as I finished last season in Plat so I expect mid Gold players to be on my team. Just a few games ago I had my entire team off-role except for my silver 2 support who did not do so hot, "I wonder why?" now the enemy team had 2 Gold 1's, 2 Gold 2's, and one Gold 3. Now I do not know about you but I do not want to be set at a disadvantage right out the gate but I'd rather have a more even playing field before I start the game. I know match making can't be perfect but a whole team of lower off-roles against higher ELO main-roles, cmon Riot. Look, I love this game and I have loved it since late 2013, I've stood behind Riot on many other horrendous choices (5 MS nerf irelia or 3 AD graves) but this change I can not simply defend. I really hope this positional ranked system gets removed in the near, near future because I honestly do not have motivation to play much anymore.
