Tahm Kench Devour
Tahm Kench's Devour (W) seems to have some mechanics built in to prioritize use on friendly champions over enemy targets. This "player assist" mechanism seems like it also looks to allies around your targeted area of use, so that even if you're not hovering within the hitbox range of an ally, it will still select them (instead of not casting due to lack of target).
I can understand the reasons behind this design decision, but it is also be incredibly frustrating at times to not be able to accurately select the target you wish to devour due to the priority given to your allies.
Example: Tahm Kench and another melee character are chasing an enemy down. Tahm Kench needs to Devour the enemy to prevent them from running. If the enemy (with 3 stacks, ready to devour) and the ally melee character are on top of each other, it seems almost impossible to Devour the enemy instead of the friendly player.
TLDR: Tahm Kench's Devour (W) mechanics are awesome when you need to Devour teammates instead of minions. Not so awesome when you're trying to Devour enemy champions.
