Unskilled Player Reporting

After spending about $100 on this game on buying experience boosts, I reached level 30 way before most people do apparently. Therefore, I'm matched against players with way more skill than myself. I have been reported many times for "Unskilled Player". I try my best every time and I do not believe I am being fairly reported. If I could do it over, I would not have spent money on Experience boosts. This is such an annoying problem for me because I am doing everything right. I'm nice, cooperative, and I try my best. I have done nothing wrong.

Please remove the option to report players for being "Unskilled". Its not fair to legit players who are just out of their league because of experience boosts.

Thank you.

Reporting people for being unskilled only lowers their MMR, which means you get matched with lower rated players and it has no other consequences, so no need to worry :)

Why do you spend 100 bucks on exp boosts though ?

I'm pretty sure "Unskilled player" reports go to a place that no rioter ever goes. It's there as a release valve type deal. Basically if you got a person who just wasn't good. but didnt seem to be doing bad on purpose, and you wanted to report him, you'd go unskilled player, it would get sent to Riot, and Riot wouldn't care. You could probably get a dozen of them until your MMR gets to a point where you are where you're suppose to be and no biggie.

If you're really worried though, try apologizing when you screwed up and you know you screwed up. We all do it, but too many people blame it on lag or hacks or scripting or supports or junglers or Rito, when it's their fault. I've found that when I screw up badly and feed, apologizing and doing my best to not feed any more is usually enough to make my team not rage at me even if its understandable if they do.

Everyone feeds occasionally, don't feel too bad about it. Just do your best.

I don't really think it does much to be honest, because I wonder if it's just a placebo option for people to funnel momentary anger into.

As I understand it, if you really are 'just out of [your] league', then getting reported for being 'unskilled' will only get you to 'your league' faster. It won't bring any real negative consequences.

You're not going to get banned for not being good, contrary to what a lot of people seem to think.

Okay, thank you guys for the information.

And if you are wondering why I spent $100 on boost, its because I was under false impression that I would get stronger characters as I leveled up. :(
