Positive win ratio in ranked - Wins only 15lp

I am very confused on why I am gaining so little lp for a win. I have more wins then losses in ranked and most games I've had to hard carry a team that feeds an unholy amount, for example a 22 death draven. When I lose I am losing 20-30lp and when I win I am only gaining 15-17. Its becoming extremely hard to climb when I need 2/3 wins in a row to make up for 1 loss. I've looked on other posts and some blame mmr mine is normal for the division and I have more wins then losses. Why am I being punished so hard for wins and losses. Even wins feel like a punishment.

LMAO man u made me laugh.

102 wins 100 loses. positive WINRATE

Anyway, your mmr is low for what elo you are in that is why that is happening.

And you have an even win-rate. I honestly thought u were talking about 55% + or something

Its still more wins then losses, majority of losses atm are out of my control. I need to hard carry a team or just end up losing. I've played really good games but lost to team mates who run under tower and disconnect. I'm not saying I have an amazing winrate but I just think 15lp for a win is soul crushing where I am literally having to put 120% in to win most games.

I understand your struggle. and it is a positive win-rate of 2 games. I still will call that even win-rate tho.

And it is about your MMR. just an example atm you are silver 4 and your MMR maybe for bronze 1 or silver 5. unless you get your win-rate up you will keep this low lp gain.

That is how the system works. just explaining to you what you can do

If you're getting 15 LP for a win and losing 20+, your mmr is not normal for your division, and is in fact quite low. If third party estimates like op.gg say otherwise, that just means their estimate is inaccurate, as looking at LP gains/losses is how you can actually tell.

Duoing (or if we're not talking about solo/duo, premades in general) can throw off ones intuition about how your mmr is doing relative to overall winrate. If for example you duo with someone somewhat lower mmr than you, you'll end up in easier matches (in that your mmr will be higher than most of your opponents), but you'll gain less mmr for winning, and you'll lose more mmr for losses. Similarly if you duo with someone with a higher mmr than you, you'll end up in harder matches, but gain more mmr for wins and lose less for losses.

Thats probably the best explanation I found, I often get matched with people with lower mmrs and often if I like the players on my time I would play another match with them or so forth, maybe this has thrown my mmr off a bit. But this are people I'm finding in my games so it shouldn't throw my mmr off this much? Ah well I hope I can go on a winstreak to fix this mess [zombie-brand-facepalm]
