Aftershock + barrier + pantheon E is a good defense and doesn't fall off late game like his kit

plus the rune and spell above along with the his E is incredibly hard to deal with when focusing pantheon. The only problem with this strategy is using his e immediately after activating aftershock's armor and mr. This defeats the purpose of aftershock if used in this manner, but it does happen when you are trying to brace yourself for maximum incoming damage.
