New 'runes' aren't runes, they are just masteries. The only thing they did was to rework masteries, give us a maximum of 2 pages & replace the acutual runes with some stats you get dempening on your primary and secondary tree you choose.

You are wrong as well. They are just lines of code.
We all knew that. Runes were just easier to say than masteries.
Anyway, the new system is far better than the old runes/masteries. There is simply no reason why we needed to select 60 different items for the same benefits that the current 6 rune setup offers.
