This is for anyone who knows any advanced detail on how matchmaking works.

So I am convinced after a certain amount of consecutive wins, Riot places you with lower W/L teams (low skilled) in an attempt to try and even out skill per team, or give them a chance to be carried. Seems every 3 wins, my 4th team is usually very bad or trolls a lot.

Anyone else experience this? Curious if it is a part of the matchmaking algorithm. I don't mind 1 loss for every 3 wins, just something I have noticed these past few months.

it normally puts you with people of your same mmr, doesn't matter how they got there.

Problem is I usually shred the other team when I win, I feel like it counts that against me so will give me lower skilled players. Like I said though, it is usually only every 4th game I get that "how are you in the same rank as me" kind of team. Sometimes 2 in a row but usually just that fourth.
