what do I do exactly? I'm just sitting here under my tower and trying to not get half hit from his q. am I supposed to run out his mana pool? its infinite

This is my first time hearing someone say his mana pool is infinite, in career

His mana runs out faster than i take a full breath, and the mana regen is nonexistant

he spammed q on cd, legit used it to farm and harass every single time, and his mana never even dipped close to below half

The only way that can happen whatsoever is that he had Blue Buff. Its not possible otherwise unless he had some sort of runes

Heh, if a melee tank picks into me, I run tp and start with a mana crystal, spam until I'm oom. Then I back, grab a tear and tp back and the hurt begins. 1 base damage spear won't hurt through armor. But a shitload of them will, especially if I'm getting them in for free. Bonus points if I get blue buff. I've done that before to a Darius, I basically spammed every time he got into range, baited his Q, W'd him when he pulled me. Cancer champ against pure melees, but he falls off like every other assassin, and even harder.

Edit: just did this right after I posted, poor guy had 5 cs to my 40. Lategame gave me a run for the money but we had our carries too.

Well, your best bet is to pick someone tanky, that can eat the Q's. And do not die and give him an early kill. If he gets a kill, he will get arm pen, and it will be impossible for you to actually win a single trade.

Or, you can pick something that is ranged, Gnar is a pretty good pick right now. He can win at the range, and finish him melee range.

So either pick something that can eat the Q's, or pick something that outranges him so you never get hit by them.

Unless of course you had to pick first, and he picked second, then you roll over, try not to cry, cry alot, and take it like a man.
