The "Attack and Ability Queueing" update feels unsuccessful

Patch 7.14 notes

So the attack and ability queing update was supposed to make it so when certain abilities are cast (usually a gap closer) an attack command was added to the end of it so the champion wouldn't just sit there after using the ability. This would sometimes create problems if the player wanted to cast another spell immediately after the first spell and the attack command would take priority. The update was supposed to (by what was posted in the patch notes) make it so there was no priority and so if you wanted to cast another spell you could and if you didn't then it would still have the attack command.

Well right now the attack command doesn't seem to be happening period, this is especially annoying playing a champion like talon where two of his main combos require this. Either in the form of: Auto Attack - Q (resetting auto timer) - Auto Attack, or W - Q - Auto Attack - Trigger bleed passive. Now he just dashes to them and sits there twiddling his thumbs which is insanely detrimental to his game-play when you need to trigger his passive after you Q into the enemy champion.

Sometimes you can mitigate this by attack commanding manually but this takes more time and it can be canceled on accident very easily which usually results in your death if you fail. If you are aggro'd to an enemy by casting a spell that forces an auto attack on them why would the champion lose aggro afterwards and thus stop attacking completely?

Please either fix this or revert the change if you can't fix it.

I want them to revert this assassin update (even lethality back to armor pen) forget it ever existed and try again at a later time.
