Illaoi could do with some loving

I feel like Illaoi right now is a bit too weak, whilst she can be great in lane and in 1v2 scenarios she struggles in team fights. One big reason she struggles is that she just gets locked down so she can't do anything. I think it would be cool if Riot made some changes to help her out and recommend it interacting with her passive.

She is a devout follower to Nagakabouros so I feel like she should feel empowered when near tentacles, maybe make it so she gains some resistances when near them, or even tenacity. I just feel like this would be a good way to make her see more play, there is obvious counter play to this as they die easily, but when she summons all of Nagakabouros' power with her ult she feels like this warrior priestess who has a deep connection to her god, and makes it feel like her god loves her back so watches her back for a little bit.

As an Illaoi main, nah, like she is a bit on the weaker side against players who know how to play against her, but she doesn’t need to be stronger persay. All I would want from her is for her tentacles spawn to scale with CDR since she doesn’t really do damage without them.

what you need to understand is champions need to be weaker in some areas Illaoi is a VERY strong split pusher because of her 1v2 potential.

yes she is quite poor at the moment. Being a champion with such forgiving dodge opportunities against a roster that increasingly gets "free out play" buttons makes it hard to play her in some games

I wish that all of her abilities could not be interrupted.

Like if someone is stunning her while she is in an animation then it does not stun her.

I don't think Riot will ever buff her without giving her a slight rework on either how she heals or how her ult works. While she is indeed weak, she can still 1v5 if the enemy team sits in her ult.

i got a solo pentakill with her in the past week.

in what way is that "weak" in a teamfight when i can fight their literal entire team with her.

That's what happens when you go in instead of waiting for the actual engage champ to start.

Pretty much the only weakness juggernauts have is getting focused down. So that's what you get when you mistime your abilities.

Illaoi? That one champion that when picked against me makes me to want to pull my hair out? She is overpowered as heck. Want to 1v1 her pre 6, ok you have chances, especially with ignite. Want to fight her after 6? You engage her (no other option if you aren't a poker) she E and R you and she bursts you faster than you can say "dunk". She is counterable but she needs nerfs, not buffs.
