League Alpha Client broke my game?

I just downloaded and played league of legends for the first time on the alpha client. After playing on the alpha client I switched to another game then decided to come back to league however the alpha client was no longer downloaded on my computer. Plus whenever I tried to open league it would not open saying its not responding. I restarted my computer and still the same results...
