Option To Turn Leaver Buster Off

To Whom It May Concern:

I think it would be great to have an option to play games without leaver buster affecting players and that all players must agree upon this before entering a specific game. This way, no one should get mad because it is known that people will likely leave. This is for people with kids, or other obligations coming up, but they just want to play in the meantime before having to leave.

I cannot play as often as I used to because of the repercussions of having to leave to take care of my young kids and ruin a game, or get temporarily banned. So, I just play normal TFT a lot now.

Thank you for your time.

That's what Customs are for. Stats aren't tracked there, so anyone can leave whenever. Everyone in a custom game is opting in to the experience.

If you can't commit the time to play a game, then don't play the game.

Shit comes up, no one is going to argue that. But if you KNOW you can't commit the 30-40 mins to a game, then don't play a game that takes 25-35 mins. People can say they are fine with it all they want, but they are lying through their teeth. You have 30-ish mins till you need to do something, you aren't going to be happy when some jag-off leaves at 15 mins and ruins your chance to get a game in.

This may sound callous, but to be honest, if your real life obligations are so constant that you constantly have to leave in the middle of a game, then I wouldn't want to play with you at all.

I don't think the quality of a match where all players have expressed ahead of time that they don't intend to stay until the end will be anything close to worth queuing up for.

This isn't the first time someone who, upon getting a life, has discovered that they don't have as much time for children's games as they used to. If LoL means so much to you, maybe you could arrange with your spouse for them to watch the kids while you play a match once in a while. Or you could get a babysitter, although it'd be kind of weird to still be at home while they supervise your children. But I guess that's just the changing face of entertainment; nothing actually wrong with it.

Leavers are a cancer, I just think there should be a system to cancel the game in a wise manner, while the remake system is a step in the good direction, it still doesn't address the most frequent case : Ragequit, mid game dcd. Something like not making the leaver's team losing lp and giving half of a win to the opponent's. It's infuriating to be to the mercy of a twat, some people even fucking blackmail others over leaving.

Anyway, if you leave, you make people lose time, why is your own stuff more important than other's ? Sometimes you have to deal with reality sorry.
