E > IMMEDIATELY AFTER MAKING CONTACT hit him with Q > AA till W is used up > E back through > if he wants to duel kite until Q and W are up again, profit

Yas is one of kleds easier lanes, you just can't engage until 3, afterwards you walk all over him, esp since your faster then him until he dismounts you, which the only time he should be dismounting you is when your already invested in the kill

Assuming your jungler or mid doesn't pull a bad gank and feed, Kled is actually a good counter to Yas. As a proud Kled player who has ripped out many Yasuo spines with his beartrap, I have some thoughts.

  • Before you trade with your W, land your E on his first. Your Joust is how you stick onto even the most slippery champs like Yasuo. It also gives you slippery escape for when you have no more stabs left to give. As a bonus, if Yasuo's flow is at its max, the initial dash will knock it off sooner. If you hit him with a Dash and he tries to dash away, use the second dash to keep chasing him until you land everything you wanted on him.

  • Windwall can and sometimes will block the Q, but only if he reacts to it first. If you're already at his face and land a pointblank shot, the windwall won't do much. You can also bait the wall out sometimes, or throw off his reflexes with your E, allowing you to land the Q much easier. It's too tempting to throw that beartrap from a distance, but Kled is strictly a melee champion, and you'll lose out on so much damage if you try to use it from too far away.

  • Go for Press The Attack. Conqueror is good for killing tanks and long skirmishing, but Kled's damage is from the burst of his 4 hits of his W. Against someone as squishy as Yasuo, PTA will do much more damage than Conqueror would. While on this subject, unless he dies after just another auto or two, back off after you do that burst, as Yasuo does that long-lasting trade better than Kled. In that same respect...

  • Respect Yasuo's poke. He beats people in lane by doing one poke, then a second after a while, than that tornado that's easy to dodge. Once he's 6, landing that tornado and getting his ult can really hurt. You can kill him with your all-ins, but you have to make sure you don't take any damage from him for no reason.

  • Don't die when you know you can avoid it. As you said, he Yas is hard to fight when he snowballs hard, even if you fight him as Kled. But as long as you're on equal ground as him, the lane and fight still favors Kled since you can stick to him and melt him. In fact, if you're the one snowballing, Yas is kind of screwed until someone ints for him. With that said, if you're off Skaarl and your health is low and doubt you can fill up your courage soon enough, just recall and walk back to lane. A small walk to lane is 300 less gold for the enemy.
