silver 2 observation after a few days

is there a reason that silver 2 feels like the smurf problem is amplified 10x? lol, it's pretty much every game a plat smurf or smurf duo on my team or enemy team.is it boosters? never seen this many of them back to back in my games in silver and some of the most toxic players as well all of a sudden. happened immediately once I promoted to silver 2.what makes it lame is more often than not they are the sole reason the game is won or lost and just feels like the rest of us are just there to support them. they flame the team even when we are winning. sometimes I've seen them get fed and then afk the rest of the game so we purposely will lose. its been pretty bad so far.
