Tristana, Thoughts on W...?

Tristana's update is very nice, and I like it a lot. But I have a question for you all. Are there other champions with the ability to be targeted while jumping? I mean Jumping, not dashing, teleporting... blah blah blah. Specifically Trists W, her long range jump. In a tight spot this can mean life or death. Now I see league as a very well balanced game. But height issues are bothering me... When Tristana is mid jump, It makes sense to be targeted by basic attacks, point and click, and a few other skill shots. Bringing a good example, grab is animated to hug the ground. Why can't Tristana jump over it? __My real question is, Is this a balance issue? Is Trist OP without this vulnerability to be caught mid-jump? What are your thoughts, world?

I wouldn't call it OP but in the same reason you say she can jump over it, she also can't. While mid jump, Blitz could aim his arm to grab her at her exact location mid jump thus making it impossible for her to dodge since she can't change trajectory mid air.

So even though visually her W is a "jump," it is technically just a dash. That's why skillshots still hit you, you can't jump over cait traps, etc.

Jax can be grabbed, knocked back or rooted in mid dash too. So is Lee sin and Vi. It's hard to pull off though

It'd be somewhat OP if her jump was untargetable. That said, it does annoy the hell out of me (just conceptually/logically) that she can't jump OVER certain things like traps. She should still be vulnerable to AAs and things like Blitz's grab (much as I hate it), but stationary ground items should NOT hit/stop her.
