Ranked Leavers.

This has been suggested MULTIPLE times. why haven't we already done it.

What you may ask?

When someone leaves a ranked game, everyone -except their duo if they have one- on their team gets reduced league point loss. To have lost a solid 20-25 points because someone decided to feed 3 deaths get angry and leave is just ludicrous.

And then verbally abusing people until they leave becomes the new standard? Realistically, how often do quitters leave the game completely as opposed to sitting in the fountain feeding kills every now and then so Leaver Buster doesn't pick them up?

Also, if you're losing more than 18LP, you should probably start worrying about things you can impact, like your own play.

In the grand scheme of things, you'll benefit from leavers just as much as you'll suffer from them. What really need to be solved is game proceeding normally in scenarios where one or more player fails to connect.

It would probably get abused. Like, if I'm having a terrible game and causing my team to lose, I could just leave to save them.

The fix needs to be to just ban people for some period of time if they AFK more than once every 2 weeks. I'm not saying that family issues are not as important as league, but there is no way of proving you left for a "real" reason as opposed to getting mad and leaving, so there needs to be some kind of punishment.

This should only go into effect, however, after Riot fixes the completely worthless servers/client they have, because I think most of the AFKs come from their end and people shouldn't be punished just because rito wants to make more money so they don't spend it fixing things.

Too abusable

This current system is actually in your favor as long as you aren't a leaver because you have 5 chances to fight against a leaver while you only have 4 chances to get one

that "solution" creates more problems than it solves
