Sona needs a full rework.

Think this goes without saying. The problem exists in her kit being so easy to play anyone can faceroll her in Iron/Bronze and win. This is what's giving her a 60% winrate at the moment, diehard fans knowing how to play the champion as opposed to having no idea what to do and dying over and over. Here's something extra special to think about, if people didn't somehow fail on Sona despite how easy she is, we'd be seeing her at an 80% winrate right now post hotfix. Thanks for reading. The issue isn't Sona inherently, it's how completely worthless top is as a lane right now when bot focus is the guaranteed method to win in solo-queue 90% of the time (with the other 10% being mid focus). If the lane is going to be so irrelevant with traditional top laners, to the point that most of those champions now have a better performance in mid, why not throw a support with Spellthief's Edge in top lane and let them rapidly scale into a better teamfighter than any of them? Any jungler camping top lane to try to punish the pick is basically inting if their bot isn't already completely dumpstering their opponents 2v2, because Rift Herald is irrelevant with reduced plate gold and rapid-spawning dragons mean you can get Soul and Elder before 25 minutes.

Here's something extra special to think about yourself: if top lane had any power built into it that wasn't "I TP/use a global for bot," it wouldn't be an island that gives supports a free laning phase to work off of.

She really does need a full rework. She has a kit that makes her either broken or garbage because its so old that you cant really balance it for the game now.

Sonas ranges are way too long.
