Hecarim is not OP. He has a mediocre win rate in all positions in plat+ and has no natural tankiness or damage. If he doesn't get ahead he's an inferior initiator to Malphite while not being anywhere near as tanky.

Mundo is OP though. He has the largest AD steroid in the game while being extremely tanky.

In my recent games, our Heca has been surprisingly bursty in mid-early.

because he has TP homeguards. Otherwise his burst is pretty mediocre compared to even Malphite and other initiator tanks.

Eh, it was mostly early game once he finished his Trif. He just use Ult+Q+E+auto attack and bursted a squishy.

Malphite does the exact same thing early game while building full tank. I don't see the difference except Malphite doesn't need gold for Triforce.

I'm not saying Malphite isn't bursty, I'm saying Hecarim is bursty.

Almost every bruiser with a triforce and a gapcloser is bursty. I'm not sure I can name a single bruiser with triforce that isn't. It is only special if they're bursty without triforce.

Heca just doesn't seem like a very bursty champion to me, with all his helicopter sustained damage. I just didn't expect the burst.

Malphite also doesn't seem bursty with his E sustained damage and strong autos from W. But he is still bursty. BTW Hecarim's win rate top dropped yet again to 51% in plat+. No nerfs at all.

You ask if hecarim is OP and then you ask what makes him OP signaling that you think he is OP so there is literally no reason to ask if he is OP because you think he is OP.
