Best champs for low elo?

I need super simple champs to play and learn, I've been playing alot of Akali but I don't know if she's fit for me. Is there any mid laners that scale into the late game well (with a relatively easy learning curve)? Yeah I could just go to youtube but I'd like to hear from our lovely boards community*[slayer-jinx-catface]*

Great champs in every role for low elo:

MID Ahri - Very safe and fairly forgiving to play. Her ult makes it so you don't have to waste summoner 4 as often. Annie - Already mentioned. Also easy to CS with which is a huge plus. Lux - Although all her abilities are skillshots, she remains popular in low elo because her long range makes it so she is very safe to play. Veigar - Games tend to last longer in low elo so you're going to be able to stack your passive a lot.

TOP MonkeyKing - Snowballs lanes/games ridiculously hard. Take summoner 14 ftw. Garen - Simple champion, but very effective. Malphite - Fits well into every team comp, but watch mana early game. Lissandra - Best option for a "ranged" top laner imo. She offers more in teamfights than Teemo and she has an escape.

ADC Caitlyn - Great at every elo, but everyone plays her for a reason. She's very good and simple to play. Surprisingly fun as well. Jinx - Her rocket and ZAP! damage make it so that not autoing as much is more forgiving to your DPS. Probably the best ADC in low elo. Vayne - A lot of people think she's a super high-skill champion, but she really has a low skill floor (she's easy to pick up). She just has a high skill ceiling. She tends to snowball hard right now in low elo because she's strong generally.

JUNGLE Vi - Very strong in general, easy to play. Amumu - Classic staple of low elo. Similar to Malphite in gameplay. Hecarim - Also very strong in general, but a bit more snowball-dependent in order to carry.

SUPPORT Sona - The PERFECT support for low elo. Offers great amounts of utility and damage. Easy to poke/trade in lane since people don't know how to. Games last longer and she scales incredibly well. Leona - People misposition a lot in low elo and it's easy to punish them with her. Zyra - A little bit harder to play, but you can solo carry games with her.

Try Swain if you're playing mid or top. Even a bad player like me can seem as amazing as Swain.

Janna is really easy if you want a support.

Ahri Annie Are the two I would say. Low skill floors for each champion, Ahri has a bit of a larger skill cap, while Annie doesn't have much of a skill cap at all.

I'm actually a big fan of finding a champion you like and just playing that.

For me that champion is Gangplank, he just fits for me, and despite needing a lot of practice to perform with any sort of consistency, he works for me. I also think that through learning Gangplank I've become better at other champions simply by understanding the game better and improving simple things like my CSing for example.

Annie takes next to no skill.

I can't believe no one has named this one yet, so here it comes: Katarina. I've been playing her for a few days now, and I have a 75 percent winrate right now. She's not the easiest, after the rework she requires knowledge of other Champs, when to go in, when to retreat etc. Also, mechanical skill will leave you with faster combos, and thus, faster damage output. If you can handle that, then she will carry you to high gold in no time at all. Just remember that you're bringing damage to your team, nothing else.

Nasus if you use your q and stack, but if you don't stack your q you will do about as much as a Teemo in a team fight. IF you STACK you will be a mid to late game carry and Q the adc for most there health Bar
