I'm just going to have these two ideas in one post since one of them is extremely short, but I digress...

The Item Idea (...or atleast part of it)

+50 AD (or more) +40% Attack Speed (or more) Possible Passive: Steals % or flat BONUS Armor in a manner similar to Possible Build Path: +

Reasoning: There's really not that many GOOD AD + Attack speed items in game besides . The raw stats on are pretty mediocre and the thing that makes it viable is it's passive which only lasts for 6 seconds and is on a 45 second cooldown. has alot of different stats which can lead to a lot of bloat plus if you can't make use of spellblade passive then it's just not worth the price you're paying.

Now for the counter.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Step 1: Collect 1350 IP and rip your soul from body Step 2: Go to champion shop menu and exchange items collected in step 1 and exchange them for... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdvUR67nZs0 Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit

Soul keeping option:

Stupid ass memes aside, blind keeps most of the on hit effects from activating so that should counter pretty much every champion that sated devourer is buffing right now. Plus can use it Sated himself pretty effectively himself (if you can ever get the stacks you need) and he got indirectly buffed from the AP item changes, so he has quite a few options now.

Problem with that is it only works for physical damage effectively, and sated allows a mix of damage sources. The Attack speed part is almost negligible to a lot of sated users, plus in the case of MasterYi I don't think the attack speed slowing part works against him during his ult.

in Yi's case, you just need hard CC, thats what counters him. He has no form of CC himself so unless he 1 shots you, you have time to react and retaliate if you have a stun or knock up. But for everyone else, frozen heart reduces the attack speed by quite a bit. And after that you just want some big MR item like Spirit visage. This obviously isn't for carries but mostly tanks and supports.

While this is all true, besides frozen heart since 15% isn't all that high when the target has two or more attack speed items, you need to build all these defensive items to help mitigate one guy. With Teemo and Quinn you only need their respective Qs to mitigate their damage

you need to realize frozen heart takes more attack speed the more attack speed they build. the reduction of attack speed is after all the bonuses have been added.

I do realize that, but you still won't feel it that much because the maximum reduction your gonna get is like .3 attack speed when your at the attack speed cap. Plus again, this won't help you vs the magical and sometimes true damage that devourer dishes out while blind will.

Yes and No, depends on who you are against. Like say a Yorick gets it. Yorick will just use his Q to bypass the blind. certain champions can do the same. but in the case of yi, Teemo's blind is pretty good as you level it, but quinns blind is really short at all levels

Ironically enough... the item you're proposing, kinda works with Sated... Would make Sated even more retarded than it already is in conjunction with other on-hit items (like BotRK).

Now I have the urge to try out a Sated Devourer on-hit build...

True, however I don't think people would have more than 2 Attack speed items most of the time and they definitely wouldn't grab this over BotRK.

Unless they try out something that I've considered trying: AS On-Hit Sated Devourer Jungle.

Imagine stealing MR, Armor, and dealing lots of on-hit damage, AND lifestealing, AND etc. etc.

You'd have a lot of wasted AS then and your life steal would be kinda weak since you have your damage split so much.

Obviously you wouldn't build ALL the AS on-hit items... Just enough to hit that cap, then build something else... either tanky or physical damagey.
