This lore update has been extremely underwhelming.

Mostly because it has no gamemode to go with it and you'd think that the people who live and thrive off war along with a universal dragon entity coming to seek revenge among the gods would have so seriously explosive gamemode to go with it but it's been super dry.

Thing should be popping off not going through this slow grind. Even if Riot pulls out an event at the end of the update it'll still be shit because for the majority of the time all we had to do was read, which isn't nearly as engaging as actually fighting battles.

Maybe it's just me but this has all been a let down. :(

As a poor man literally only playing League because it was free, yes I am very happy with what I have but there is something to be excepted besides nothing here.

If you look at the Bligewater event, it was just about a bunch of swashbuckling pirates but the one about the gods coming down to earth to wage war isn't nearly as exciting.

That doesn't seem off to you?

Lore is not important and doesn't affect gameplay.

But it does improve the enviroment of play. I can't count how many times I've seen a Zed and insta locked Shen.
