What are the Statistics on "Dodges

I believe the champion select UI is currently broken. Key KPI's (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Performance_indicator) for this would be

  1. the number of disconnects prior to game start before and after the change in interface
  2. The length of time (real length) before game start. That is from, "play now" till the loading screen without resets for dodges

I believe that both of these will indicate a negative UX experience and I would like Riot to release these hard numbers (not peoples feelings about the same). I am willing to predict a 2-5% increase in (1) and a 70-100% increase in (2).

This would indicate the the new UI focuses on form over function and leads to a negative user experience.

the queue time i think actually is faster, but half the time u wont get ur primary role and mostlikely someone is gonna dodge.

I've got faster queue times than ever, 10 seconds flat, every time, and I'm matched. Don't usually have a dodger in champ select, haven't had an AFK in game yet.

I've been queuing as Mid/ADC, and got Mid all 5 times so far. My queue partners, a Sup/ADC and a Jung/Sup have gotten their preferred position 3/5 times.

3 out of 4 games never start. Thats the rate.

If you don't know what UX is or KPI don't vote on this. You don't know what you are talking about and should move on.

I second your question about statistics and hard numbers. More transparency please :)

But I disagree that the new UI focuses on form over function. In particular, what is most probably responsible to cause additional dodges is the requirement to lock-in, and this fulfill a very functional purpose, not an aesthetic one: force people to engage with their team during champ select, and speed-up the process by avoiding people that just let the counter run to 0.
