2 seconds early game is pretty quick, low attackspeed, lowmovespeed, lower defenses. It seems fine here.

2 seconds late game might as well not be placed at all.

OR

Give them AoE protection.

Majority of the time people don't even know a box has been placed, they just continue on as usual and let Hydra/Hurricane/AOE skills just remove it.

It's the most iconic part of his kit, but it becomes pretty irrelevant later in the game.
