Actually, the new system is not that bad at all

I just got up from 30 to 31, i counted it took me 15 games of ascension mode to get me to that lvl. I got a champion capsule, from which i got 950 BE draven. Counting it all, i got like 60 BE for 1 game on average, so pretty much the same as the previously with IP? Its still random because i could get 750 BE champion and that would have gave me 50 average, but also i could have get a over 1k be champion. So we basically traded a constant IP reward for a more RNG system in which we could get much more rewards as a final result. If you will drop a champion you wanted to buy, you additionally save a tons of BE. Not to mention, with the current system you are not forced to buy runes and that adds up a huge benefits for the newer players. Despite what people say, the new system is not maybe a change for a "much better" but a slightly better, with RNG that could reward you pretty nicely. We should appreciate that there is no more a wall between new and old player in the runes.

I like it. The runes and masteries were too much for me and honestly put me off the idea of playing ranked. Also getting the IP for champs was painfully slow. Best case scenario i got a shard for a champ i liked which was stupidly rare, then i somehow had enough BE to turn it into a permenant. With the new system i can just pick my runes immediately and i get a champ shard every level as opposed to like 1 every 10 games if i'm lucky.

I do think they need to add mastery skins or something for older players to have something to work towards. Ideally they'd cost BE but also have a mastery requirement and a ton of side objectives to get them. I.E. Hop this many times with Riven, steal Baron x amount of times with Riven's Ki Blast, etc.
