When is Akali finally going to be nerfed?

Title says it all. She's OP. Infinite sustain with spellvamp, no having to back because she's pretty much resourceless, targeted poke (not a skillshot). Incredibly high burst damage AND THREE DASH USES ON HER ULTIMATE. So not only can she outheal any damage you do with just spellvamp items, she can always dash to you 3 times as you try to get away. How balanced is that? Dare I mention invisibility?

Sure, they removed the MR and Armor while in shroud but they gave her a 100% movement speed buff to 'compensate'.

Come on. In her current state, she's basically mash-all-buttons-buttons-receive-pentakill. I want to see a legitimate nerf, not just "Oh we'll get rid of some of her tankiness and make her a much better chaser". Nerf her damage, nerf her spellvamp, just do something to bring this mid lane godmode down a few dozen pegs.

...you do realize she has to wait 90 seconds after reaching level 6 to actually have all of her ultimate? And that her full combo requires her W and waiting for Q+E cooldowns to come off after jumping on someone?

Otherwise, her only defence is her invisibility and trying to kill people fast. Due to cooldowns, after one jump she has nothing except her ult left, which means a pink ward and focusing can easily murder her before she can get cooldowns back.

someone said below that ignite reveals her - not true

but anyways, shes pretty op in blind pick if your champ doesnt really counter her and you let her tp all over the map but in draft, you can easily counter her and gank her with a pink ward shes easy to gank pre 6.

If you think shes op then think about vlad. resourceless, targeted spell, spell vamp, aoe aoe 20% dmg boost, tanky. I think katarina is way easier to snowball and turn the game around

The thing about akali, much like a Zerg who's allowed to macro off 4 bases until supply capped, once late game arrives, it becomes incredibly difficult to win. Akali is balanced because of her "ramp-up" time. Look at her pre-level 6, extremely weak. Invisibility is countered by ignite, burst by exhaust (so take one of those against her).

And again, until she hits lvl 6, she should not be allowed to survive in lane. So either request to lane against her, jungle, or roam up (or down) to gank her lane.

If all else fails and you're stuck in a different lane, make sure to pick a champion equally as "OP" as her, or at least one who scales as hard as her into the late game.

And about the whole mid-lane Akali, what about Lux, Xerath, Ziggs? She should not be able to get close to them. In her current state I will say, yes, she is a strong pick (and a very fun champion to play), while she COULD be toned back a bit, she's in a nice spot right now. Remember Yasuo? Remember Tristana? Heck, even season 2 Kennen or season 3 support Annie. Riot didn't necessarily nerf these champions, which caused them to stop getting picked as often, the community just figured out how to play against them.

In her current state I can walk up to her with a bruiser and chunk her down hard enough that she either books it out of lane or dies fighting. You don't seem to understand the difference between a champion being overpowered and being oppressive. If you want to find out look up how Akali was years ago.
