Guinsoo + Hextech Gunblade is the true horror of pre-season
I see a lot of threads about
and keystone masteries on some very specific champions (hello
and Warlord's Bloodlust).
But guys, have you tried Guinsoo + Hextech Gunblade on champions that naturally have VERY high AS ?
Namely
.
The combination of those 2 items is absolutely ridiculous.
Let me explain :
-
Aatrox and Jax have naturally very high attack speed. They are melee, therefore they require little effort to fully activate Guinsoo (4 melee attacks).
-
Guinsoo passive grants +74% AS, a shitload of AP and AD and makes each AA deals AOE bonus magical damages (based upon your bonus AD and your AP).
-
Hextech Gunblade grants a shitload of AP and AD and makes you heal for 15% of all your damages. Yes, all your damages. AP, AD, spell or AA.
-
Now combine all of this with the keystone mastery Fervor of Battle. You see what I mean ?
As an Aatrox player, I'm absolutely shocked to see the INSANE damages and sustain these 2 items give. At lvl 18, I have roughly 213 AD and 186 AP. My ultimate deals 586 AP AOE damages and my E 380 AP AOE damages. And with Guinsoo and Fervor of Battle, each of my AA deals roughly, in healing mode, 213 AD + 80 bonus physical damages + 80 bonus AOE magical damages while having approximately 2.4 AS during ultimate. This is beyond broken because you only need these 2 items, you can then go full tank and be extremely (almost impossible) hard to kill.
It is the same for
. Jax will not have the sustain of
, but his ultimate will give him a RIDICULOUS amount of armor and MR and he will have much much higher damages than Aatrox.
Only a handful of champions can fully exploit this combination. But the result is HORRIBLE.
And if you are asking :
