ONSLAUGHT INVASION How to beat it
I've beaten it a few times and have noticed a lot of people struggling, so I decided to right something to help you guys out.
Table of Contents: General Tips Specific Champions Map Tips
General Tips
- Kiting
-Always auto attack the closet thing to you, standing still and not attacking is the worse thing you can do.
- Reviving
-Do not buy
I've seen some people do it before. In hectic situations stand on top of each other. If you go down someone will be able to revive you, then you'll revive them when you come back up with your invincibility.
- Target Selection
-Focus Velkoz's b/c they do insane amounts of dmg. Kill targets "before they spawn" by prepping CC and abilities to one- shot targets.
Specific Champions
I've beaten it with Jinx, Ahri and Poppy. Most sucess on Jinx. Like 3/0 with her. Poppy I'm like 1/15. Ahri i'm 1/0
Jinx
Build Path
-
- BF + Zeal 2. Finish Shiv. 3. Get Bork (cutlass part first) 4. Rapid fire Cannon + Boots
Make sure to take warlords. The 2 main items are Bork and Shiv. Shiv clears clumps of minions and Bork gives Sustain and the percent dmg is insane on it.
Tips
-
Place Flame chompers on top of spawn point to immediate snare them, making them easy targets.
-
Focus low target Champions. Killing them will give you a ton of movement speed to run away.
Ahri
Build Path
-1. Morrelo 2. Hextech Gunblade 3. Rylais 4 Haunting Guise
Morrelos' is a must b/c you need mana. Gunblade gives you sustain, which is really strong, and Rylais to help with kiting.
Tips
-
Use Q to clear minions the AOE insta clears them.
-
Use spam charm to peel off enemies
Poppy
Build Path
-1. Warmogs 2. Adaptive Helm 3. Abyssal Mask 4. Cloth armor
Buy Warmorgs for the sustain then you need a lot of MR for Velkoz. Get Adaptive helm for mana and Abysall Mask b/c passive reduces subsequent magic dmg. Makes it really effective against Boss and Velkoz.
Tips
-
W can block Rek'sai Ults and Kha'zix jumps. Use it so they don't runaway and waste your time.
-
E Can cancel Velkoz's Laser Bam
Map Tips On moving Velkoz map be prepared to kill the Velkoz's in the back. It's okay to step off the platform for a bit to get in that last auto attack or ability and Use your Ult's on them to pick off low health targets you didn't quite get.
Boss Battle
Rift Herald takes 600 damage to the back if it's eye is open. Focus enemies first if they're close to you. They'll be the one's that kill you not the Rift herald. Like Skarner might pull you into the Rift Herald and get you killed, or you didn't kill the Velkoz's that spawned so they just end up killing you
Sorry for long post, but I hoped this helped. Please give feedback if I missed something or if the tips helped or what you're still struggling on.
