Concerns with the Galio Rework

I know I'm almost a month too late, but I'd like to share some concern's I have with Galio's rework. A lot of these have to do with the champion's design and identity.

Passive: In terms of passives, Galio's passive is quite boring. It's just a regular old enhanced auto-attack with no twists to it. Also, it has an AP scaling which is equal to its Magic Resistance scaling, which would create less incentive to build Galio around MR, which is his core identity.

Q (Winds of War): I feel that while good use has been made of the crescent skill shots, I feel that this ability is a bit over tuned in terms of scaling. It has a 75% AP Scaling, which, in tandem with Galio's passive scalings discourages people from building Galio as an MR champion.

W (Shield of Durand): I feel that while this is a unique ability, it has a real possibility of creating trolls who can just stay in W form forever and claim that they're tanking.

E (Justice Punch): This is basically Vi's Q. Also, it's high AP scaling encourages people to build full AP Galio

R (Hero's Entrance): I feel like this ability is a combination of Shen and Malphite's ult. Also, it feels a bit overloaded, with damage reduction, an area of effect knock up, and a high AP scaling,

TL;DR - Some of the abilities are overloaded and this kit seems to discourage people from building MR Galio

PS: I saw the Rakan Champion Spotlight, and that Disturbed pun was terrible. I'd like to know who wrote the script so that I can spam them with messages to make better puns.

if galios overloaded start winning with him. (hes negative everywhere but mid, barely scraping 50.04%)

fun fact, his damage was gutted and he has no ultimate at all. all while simultaneously making sure his primary 3 abilities still manage to lose lane due to forced auto shoving.

even dyrus says (the only decent player with a postive win rate on the champ said) paraphrasing

"galio used to be really strong in the early laning phase, now hes a bit weaker and you have to work for it, but later he just falls off and hes pretty worthless" "see that recomeneded item page, roa abyssal, forget that, youre building double dorans and then tabis or spirit visage every time if hes ad or ap" "that ult, you can only use it to follow up on someone else, or tp if you need it, its ok if you follow up on a riven or a lee sin, but otherwise just use it for the damage reduction on a team mate" "the way to win with galio, is to just spam W and Q a lot"

I use the standard core build with Galio. I take him mid and I crap on most mages pretty hard. His w passive in my opinion make him pretty nasty. He has tankiness and really good damage as well as utility and team play elements that make him pretty difficult to deal with. The only lane I lost hands down to was a yasuo. Crit builds ignore his MR shield and force you to build armor as well, and even then I got pretty dominated by a not too skillful Yas. I consider Galio an anti mage specialist who can thrive in most settings, but has counterpick weaknesses as well. Still a little OP as I have like a 75% win rate with him.
