DQ Matchmaking Explained with an Algorithm

I will explain how matchmaking works with Dynamic Queue and Champion Select as simplistic as possible.

As a Solo player

  1. Pick Role
  2. Queue
  3. Do players have similar ELO to you? If No, go back to 2.
  4. Are found players queuing roles you are not? If no, go back to 2.
  5. Match 10 players of similar ELO together.
  6. Pick Champ and Play.

As a Premade of various amount of members

  1. Pick Role
  2. Queue
  3. Do players have similar ELO to you? If no, go back to 2.
  4. Do players have similar ELO to your party members? If no, go back to 2.
  5. Are players with similar ELO in a premade? If no, go back to 2. Skip to 6 after certain amount of tries.
  6. If cannot find premades with similar ELO, fill gaps with Solo players of similar ELO.
  7. Match 10 players of various sizes and similar ELO together.
  8. Pick Champ and Play.

See whats going on here?

Actually there's just one mistake: premades should get matched against HIGHER elo players, the rest is pretty much correct.

not if premade sizes are the same on both sides, then it all balances out.

That is something I question actually works since I've seen some complaints about Remake not working.
