Nocturne...needs some love.

I'll be the first to admit, Noc's ult is total BS that you have to tune around. That said, lets brainstorm.

Umbra Blades- Not terrible but not enough ether. Noc has rather poor clear speeds (early) despite have 2 aoe abilities. The main problem are single camps and champions. Sure the mini crit is nice but the healing just isn't enough and early clears can be painful, even going after scuttle is a hazard as most other junglers will be far healthier and dangerous despite your ability to out duel most of them. (it also doesn't proc item 1039)

Duskbringer- No real complaints, bonus AD/MS is always nice.

Shroud of Darkness- One of two true spell shields left in the game plus two AS steroids made this a very powerful ability. Made. In a 1v1 scenario it still is. However in a game where that has 100+ champions and 95% of them have hard CC this has become lackluster on a champion that is what Riot calls a Diver class, he isn't like Vi, Xin, or Aatrox that has other tools to survive or escape, once Noc is in the fight it's kill or die.

Unspeakable Horror- First point? Shit name, but I digress. A point and click ability with good cc and decent leash range. The damage is just tacked on but it's there. The passive is pointless though as you're already pointblank.

Paranoia- The longest point and click gap closer in league along with one of the most fury inducing cc's in the game. However, while amazing in lane it can quickly turn into a deathtrap as the amount of protections that carries can have piled onto them in team fights has become absurd.

Suggestions

Umbra Blades- Drop the AP ratio as it's pointless and give it one based on the identity you want for Nocturne. As he is thematically an assassin that would build as such drop the CD to 5-6 seconds and let him gain health on kill/takedowns. If a fighter maybe AD/HP scaling.

Duskbringer- The only thing I can think of is during ult make it buffer and cast towards your target on hit. You made the Ali combo brain dead so why not right?

Shroud of Darkness- It's hard not to say pure cc immunity here but given the state of the game and how far Noc usually has to dive I feel it's justified. Perhaps a 0.5 second period of being untargetable followed by 1.25 seconds of immunity to hard cc, letting slows and silences work.

The Horror- This just doesn't feel thematic to be honest. Nocturne is literally a living nightmare who's only goal is death and carnage that feeds on your mind and yet he needs some little beam to spook one person? I feel this should become an AoE with the same range and channel time as the leash, with an outer zone for a slow and an inner with the fear with those caught in the fear receiving a debuff to take additional damage for a few seconds. I realize that this would make him feel a bit like the current Warwick but Noc was the dive king first so meh.

Paranoia- It's really REALLY hard to justify a buff to this ability. Maybe something scaling for late game as it becomes more and more impossible to pop a carry? No idea on this one that isn't just something gross like "true damage" or something.

Anyway that's just this guy spit balling. Agree Disagree Flames (if there good) and ideas welcome.

Nocturne needs a resource update. Mana cripples his already mediocre kit.

Darkness- 0-100 resource bar. Slowly degenerates outside of combat.

Umbra Blades- Deals 200% damage in a cleave, heals and generates 25 Darkness.

Q-Dusk Bringer-Free to cast, current damage of missile decreased, auto attacks on targets afflicted with Duskbringer Generate 10 Darkness. Standing in Dusk Bringers train generates 2.5 Darkness/per second.

W-Shroud of Darkness: NO COOLDOWN. costs 50 Darkness.

E- Horror: Same cooldown as it has now, same damage...costs 25Darkness to cast. Autoattacks on target afflicted with terror from Horror generate 5 Darkness.

R-Paranoia, immediately fills Noturnes Darkness to 100 and remains the same otherwise.
