Reason im waiting is the tiers r not full of players in their real division. Last season i went 9-1 n went up 2 divisions and was gaining 28-32 lp. I waited 2 months to start doing placements. Hope that will help. Soo im just gona do that. http://na.op.gg/statistics/tier/

It would make sense. I play high Silver and I kid you not there are a ton of Silver 5 players with high silver elo mixed with Plats that were placed low. So it's a mix of really good and really bad players.
