What League Needs to Bring Back

Individuality. I've like most of my friends have been playing since S2 and noticed over the years the individual has constantly been pushed out but why? Why is the game so heavily drenched in team play? Imo one of LoL's best comparisons is Basketball. 5 INDIVIDUALS playing as a TEAM not just a team. (Yes I do know benches are very important in the NBA and such but forget that for now.) They just slowly took out individuality from the game. S5 and now S6 are so team oriented its somewhat sickening. Look at some of the other games like Counter Strike 5 players all on a team and each one of them constantly has the potential to shine for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN5837YBH9I

You compare it to sports you compare it to basketball or football and while the video game is just a series of 0's and 1's everybody looks different. I can watch a video of a Marth and can tell you whether its Ken, Neo, or Azen you can see the style in a persons character and that to me is incredible." True that Melee's top bracket is singles but what he is describing is individuality and I think League can do with some more of it frankly.

S3 had too much individuality but S5 -> onward has had too little and S4 imo had the best balance of team/individuality and was the best overall season imo. Listen I don't want it to be crazy like S3 (although S3 was my favorite) I just want a BALANCE between the two like S4 had as imo its best for the game. I want to feel like I'm actually someone having impact on my game but I also want to feel as I'm part of team with smart macro decisions. Imo we need to stop trying to get fancy with trying to fix the games current problems we need to go back to our roots we need a renaissance. This is just my opinion as a old League vet feel free to disagree/agree, debate me w/e this is just what I believe this game needs.
