I just want Solo Q asap so I don't hit plat-diamond only to have to start all over

It wouldn't bother me that much if they said On X day we implement solo Q

But saying "at some point we will implement solo Q" is a total middle finger to all players that want it.

So basically now people who play solo dynamic will play a lot hit high rating only to have to start over to get there in solo queue
