Irelia and Akali, oh my!

I want to gather some ideas about these champions. Both of them are actually up and ready for a rework, but I want to gather some info from the community to see exactly what it is that these champions have that make them so special.

If you play or main these champions, leave a comment below. I also want to possibly design my own rework for these two. Keep in mind, I haven't played either of these champions a whole lot, so I don't actually know too much about how players feel about them.

I would like to see akali retain high mobility and want to see irelia be more creative in her blade use as I enjoy doing her ultimate but find it lacking impact. I think ideally both could have better laning phases at the cost of becoming late game monsters as I find myself bullied pretty hard with both of them in early laning.

Irelia's blades are indeed a good place to start. Her ult is the only time you seem to use them in a non-melee way, which, for a telekinetic blade mistress, seems a bit lacking. Definitely looking into ways to portray it more.
