Nasus is gamebreakingly overpowered.

Nasus is everything the old twisted fate was x2.

  • impossible to lane versus in a 1v1 situation if the nasus is a competent player. Qs deal far too much damage and counter harassing is nullified by regen.

  • A stat stick ult that does stupid amounts of damage and ensures a kill at level 6, every time.

  • Impossible to stop from snowballing, and then impossible to 1v1 if hes anything more than 1 level higher than you

  • Does a burst aoe for over 60% of most champions hit points which is not dodge-able without summoner spells.

  • Impossible to run away from

Its really plain rediculous. He is beyond S-tier in so many ways, and in the hands a competent player literally breaks the game. No hero stands a chance versus nasus in the laning phase, and if they want to get xp they will probably have to give up first blood, essentially losing the game bc massive snowball via global tp.

  1. His 1v1 pre-level 6 is pretty bad and it takes a while before he can actually win 1v1's. Some guys can straight up destroy him during that time.

  2. The stats inscrease is really all the ult does. You run away until it wears off, and then you reengage. If you're dumb enough to go h.a.m WHEN he uses it, you're asking for him to turn you into 6 stacks.

  3. He will scale better then anyone, but only if you let him. If rule 1 of the game is to never chase Singed, then the second rule is to never let Nasus free farm. Again, if you're letting him, you probably deserve to lose.

  4. His AOE is not burst at all. It scales with AP, which Nasus doesn't build. Simple as that.

  5. Easy to run away. Easy to kite. If you're range, avoid the cripple range. If melee, don't go in at all unless you have an actual plan to kill him.

He's very powerful in a competent player's hands, yes. But it's also easy to lose to him if you're an incompetent player. I myself have won games as Nasus because of that.

But if there's one thing I insist on doing, regardless of what champion you pick and even if our teammates don't do it, it's to build an item that applies grievous wounds. I built a Mortal Reminder as a Bard support once (I must've been nuts) and sure enough, me and my ADC was able to kill him and won the game.

Pretty sure that building a EC is a very bad buy into Nasus (as a Nasus main). It is a bit of gold and his sustain is simply too high to deviate from your core items to mitigate it. If you aren't a tank that normally builds thornmail don't bother building it. Grievous wounds hurts a lot of champions, but not Nasus too much.

You are better off building Ninja Tabi or rushing into your core items. Every time I play against a player that build EC on their first back, I know I have already won the lane.

He is a weak team fighter. Just about any tanky person who dedicates themselves to making his life miserable can keep him from doing anything in a fight. He rarely builds any armor pen, so trying to cut through some thresh/shen/mao/gragas/whatever on the front lines, actively ccing him, is a real chore that usually never materializes. He gets cc'd and melted down before he does more than hit a tank with a few Q's, which do little dmg because he doesnt have armor pen. Hes incredibly strong split pushing, since he destroys towers, and hes strong if he manages to get onto squishies; at least immobile ones. Problem is everyone is always going for LCS big plays engages, and he manages to get past that thresh to the adc/mage. Just play a tank, force him into teamfights, and then just CC him and he is practically useless. But if you are going for LCS big plays and engages on the 0/7 enemy ADC while you just let him walk right up to your 7-0 adc, yes he can be a problem.
