Should I feel like I'm being Carried? (Support:Main)

I'm a plat 3 Support main and I personally play Karma Janna Nami Lulu Rakan . I enjoy supports that heal, shield and in some cases truly "support" the team. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but since I got to plat I feel like I'm getting carried.

In gold I was able to save my team with a Karma ult+shield locket and redemption, I was able to Nami bubble and wave, saving teammates from near death. I notice that a lot of people go in full force, they try to 1v5 and its hard to keep track of everything and trying to get that golden Karma ult+shield or that great Nami wave that hits multiple people and wins a fight for us. When I try to get to the people who dive, I just die due to trying to save them.

No. I honestly am suprised you do as well as you do, because you rely on others. Though outside of Janna most of your champs seem like "carry" supports that offer lots of CC and lane presence.

The best way I find to tell whether or not you're getting carried... is if:

On a consistent basis, you find that your teammates are doing more poorly than you would if you would have swapped roles with that player. Now if support is the only role you play, you should be a higher rank if you out-playing (positioning/trading) the enemy support on a consistent basis, while both ADC's are considered the same skill level.

I find there is an "elo heaven" around plat 3-4, where your skill does a bit more in determining your rankings, than it does in silver/gold.

Seems like you're a fan of AOE hard CC supports.

Have you considered Sion support? He's actually kind of overpowered.
