Signs You're Playing With Script Bots

  1. You have two junglers in a CO vs AI game.
  2. They don't do anything but run to the baron and stand in front of them.
  3. Because there are two useless script bots that pretend to jungle, your base collapses.
  4. These scripted bots run past the base being invaded and straight into the jungle to pretend they're real.

I guess it's an improvement over the scripted bots that run down mid and just int/feed. Does reporting them do anything? Why would they bother make these script accounts if Riot just removes them when we report them?

Yes reporting them does make the system review the account. The sad thing is because it is a bot, they dont actually do anything right then and there with just the report. They (try to) make sure the account is actually using a bot/script and when enough of caught they do a Ban Wave. This is to combat those programmers who make these scripts so they wont actually know what cause them to be detected from the system. Its just sad that this process is too slow, so people assume they dont get caught/punished and by the time they are, someone else is using a different program to script thus making it look like nothing happen!

Because it's really damn easy to generate botting accounts.

What I don't get is why bot programmers aren't just copying League's AI; I assume it's there in the game code somewhere? Hell, if my teammates played like the legit AI, it'd be a lot easier for just one human to carry the game. More wins = faster leveling, higher chance of winning=less likely for average human player to get upset and report the bot, meaning less chance for botting to be detected. Everyone wins.
