Use for Prestige Points

It's just a suggestion and might confront dislike to some people, mostly those who are already not in good terms with this currency.

But how about giving Prestige Points some additional purpose, as in allowing you to buy past borders (or even bundles including the icons). Some people probably missed the chance and would love to get some of them. Also, right now they're only purpose are prestige skins which are pretty hefty in price, so why not?

can we just outright buy the skins? all this is doing is make a 100$ skin not have the 100$ price tag on it

Riot runs into potentially legal issues regarding redistributing exclusive content like borders.

Basically, they tag it as one-time exclusive so selling it otherwise would infringe on some integrity standard by law.

It's why they don't sell Black Alistar, King Rammus, UFO Corki, etc. anymore.
