Could we get a little quality of life buff for Jax's counterstrike?

From what I've read, most on-hit abilities go directly through his counterstrike. Seems kind of odd that he dodges the attack that the on-hit effect is attached to but somehow the on-hit still applies. This is sphagetti on calibur with Fiora's old reposte.

This was already fixed along with teemo blind, panth passive, etc.

Its not fixed...it still is inconsistent. GP's Q often goes through it for example.

It's probably about the timing, you can also flash and still die from attack or ability etc.

Fiora's old Riposte was not spaghetti code. It activated when she took auto attack damage, and blocked the damage of autos, not on-hits. It was never updated to the current standard of "auto attack denies."

Just saying.

Also, GP's Q is not an auto attack. Its a spell that can crit and apply on-hits. It is effectively a ranged auto attack, but it is actually a spell. Whether or not they want GP's Q act as a ranged auto attack or a spell that applies on-hits/crits is the real question, and after that, whether or not an ability that can apply both on-hits and crits should be denied by various mechanics provided in League.
