Is it just me or are AP junglers crazy under powered this season?

I'm a jungle main since season 5 and I got to say that AP junglers feel like they are so underpowered this season that its dumb to pick them. etc.. all have win rates way under 50%. This has to do with the new jungle camps being more difficult to clear and being so under powered. AD junglers are also way more effective early in the game, especially that games rarely go over 30 minutes, and abuse CoC like crazy. Only AP jungler that is good right now is but hes getting nerfed every patch since his release and he is more like a support. What do you guys think? I think a buff or individual buffs to those champs might make it more diverse in the pick process,not that I dont like or or but i think its time to see some changes.

Elise is the only good ap jungler imo, she clears fast and has high sustain and good ganks, shes great if you have a AD team but its honestly just better to pick Rengar Khazix or LeeSin

Never upgrade either of them. Somewhere around level 14+, sell jungle item.

The AP jungle item is absolutely garbage. AP junglers are fine if you don't build it.

I dont thin eve is underpowered, its just they don't go against the current meta well. Builds/champs seem to just counter them better

When this post is made. 3 hours after a rioter posts the amount of jungle executions per champ, with ap junglers having the highest percentage of executes in the game out of all junglers

blue buff doesn't offer ap. Red still offers its burn debuff which is pretty useless of most ap junglers. Typically AP junglers have a harder time with high enemy camps because they don't offer a lot in the way of reliable aoe clear that isn't mana intensive.

The problem is the meta right now and the jungle clearing. Assassins and ad champs with good wave clear can usually clear the jungle before they need to back while most ap junglers can only do about half the jungle before backing. This puts them farther behind when they need to provide pressure early otherwise they snowball downward and won't catch up.

The jungler role itself was meant to be for bruisers and assassins... Ap junglers are just back where they were when they started to show up: at the bottom of the food chain ...and I hope what it means to buff once again item 1402 uh? Hm, I would say that Fid, Eve and Gragas are still quite good. Lux and Kat are still solid junglers, too. You just need to avoid dying stupid deaths, and mind your positioning. Every champ is a good jungler, as lon as you're good enough.

I would like to argue that the only AP Jg's really being shafted right now are Fiddlesticks , Nidalee , Kayle , Fizz and Ekko .

Kayle requires too long to get the core items she needs in order to start becoming a threat, and the Jg items don't directly help her in terms of reaching that point. Ekko's early clears end up taking forever if he goes tank, but end up being extremely dangerous if he goes AP. Fizz has the same issue, except that not only does he not have good survivability in jg, but he cannot reliably gank until 6. This is also true with Kayle and Ekko to some extent considering how difficult it can be to judge how the enemy laner will react when W is placed. Fiddle cannot kite jg camps, and only has 1 damage ability that isn't a channel, and Nid is so heavily based on single target elimination that camps like raptors and krugs screw her entire clear over. If she needs to heal, she must go into her human form, which has no AOE abilities, hindering her clear. Not to mention that Nid requires a tanky item in order to dive in now, which she can't really achieve until around 20 minutes.

Champions Evelynn , Gragas and Elise have lower winrates because they are simply more skill based than the other AP jg's, can influence the game negatively with an ultimate, require knowledge on the players part on what they need to do, or just played completely wrong. Gragas suffers from the 2nd and 3rd point, Elise suffers from the 1st and 3rd point, and Eve Suffers from the 3rd point. Every other AP in the game other than the ones I mentioned at the top don't really have much of a problem.

This is pretty funny considering Nidalee and Gragas and to a lesser extent Elise have had HUGE crowding out problems in the past. The moment they're performing below 51% win percentage and they're not instalocked in pro play, people say "What happened to them?"

Everyone but Gragas is great this season. Gragas has suffered a little. He is still viable but I would pick some of the others over him currently. I believe they are pretty good as long as you keep aware and farm up the best you can.

Most AP Junglers don't have consistent healing or AOE and those that do have massive mana problems. Fiddlesticks actually has an ok clear if you max E second however clearing your jg literally uses all of your mana and I've been forced to put full mastery points into meditation to make him work.
