Anyone else depressed about Riot’s treatment of Jarvan?

I understand that he was nerfed a lot because he was popular and, arguably, overpowered. But it feels like they’ve stripped so much away from the poor guy over the years. The only buffs he got in return were mana and minor shield buffs.

I don’t really track how many times each champion has been nerfed, but I find it hard to believe many champions have been nerfed more often than Jarvan.

First they, decreased his damage, then they increased his cooldowns, nerfed the stats on his E, nerfed his passive damage and nerfed the armor and attack speed on his E, reduced his damage more, fixed the ‘bug’ that prevented people from flashing when he ulted (Still think it was working as intended. Targeted abilities should follow someone even if they flash), scaled his passive so that it was weaker early game but stronger late game (and made it physical…), gave him a minor mana buff, removed the active armor on his E, buffed his shield, reduced the vision radius of E, reduced the collision radius of his EQ combo, removed his passive from triggering on turrets, increased the timer on his passive and buffed the damage and reduced the mana on his shield, reduced the armor shred on his Q, increased the timer on his passive again and, finally, the dagger that was removing the passive armor from his E

TL;DR: Removed active and passive armor on E, nerfed the attack speed on E. Repeatedly nerfed his Q, E and R damage and nerfed his Q’s armor penetration, nerfed his knock up impact radius, played with his passive a lot, Buffed his shield a bit and lowered the mana cost of most of his abilities.

Now, I realize that, overall, he’s still in a decent place. His top laning is decent. But his jungle capability is pretty bad now. He’s currently ranked as the 31st best jungler out of 44, per champion.gg, with a win% of 48.48%

He was the first champion that I played well and the champion that kept me from quitting the game out of frustration when I first started playing. I can still play him, but it feels like an uphill battle from the very beginning of the game, especially compared to what we’ve had in the past. That last nerf was the killer though. I can’t believe they just removed his armor altogether.

I hope Riot buffs him soon. Maybe not giving him back the armor buff on his E, but maybe reverting some of those damage nerfs, now that he has no longer gives any armor to himself or his teammates.
