Another Post Insulting Dynamic Queue (at least it's well thought out)

I guess I don't understand why we can't have both. It really doesn't make sense. We should have the following options [SOLO Queue] [Dynamic Queue] [Ranked Teams]. It feels like Riot has this agenda of making everyone play with friends. Teamwork IS nice, however; when it comes to solo queue I really have no desire to play with friends in ranked (outside of 5's). It can really hurt friendships when there's a disagreement. I love playing with friends... just in normals/aram/featured. My friends and I all like to compete a lot and it doesn't always workout in solo Q.

Based on what I heard in this video it feels like since I'm not good enough (High Silver with a low gold MMR) I don't get the luxury of not getting steam rolled by a 5 man that is voice communicating. Also, it doesn't make sense that if I'm the fifth person for a four queue that I should get punished by playing against a higher MMR solo queue team. There is one specific instance where I (a silver 1 solo player) was matched with a four man team of low golds and the enemy team had 1 plat and 4 high golds. The only reason it sticks out in my head is because it would have been the last LP to get me to Gold Promos for the first time ever.

Regarding the video, I think the reason why the amount of toxicity is down is about 85% because people get put in roles and 15% because they can play with more friends. The only reason why there's a lot less fighting is because people pick from two roles and you can practice those two roles alone and not have to worry about having all five mastered (which is very difficult to do). This is the one part Riot got right and I thank them for it. However, getting steam rolled by a 5 man as a solo player trying to communicate with a group of three or four that's in a voice chat is ridiculous.

I guess the bottom line of what I'm trying to say is playing with friends doesn't guarantee a better experience, and even if it did, there should still be an option to play solo. There's no real reason against it other than there isn't as much "team work.'

This is the first year I feel I'm qualified for Gold and I keep getting close to promos for it and getting stomped in the game that would get me there.
