Veigar is not a support, picking veigar as a support in ranked games is a bannable offense.
I don't care about bloody normals, but if it is ranked and you pick veigar as support. Shame on you.

I think you missed the memo, the forum trolling party happens at night.
People can play whatever they want. If your Veigar had done a good job you wouldn't have said a word; that means it has nothing to do with Veigar being your support, it's whether you won the game or not is your issue. The "meta" is not a requirement in the game. Not in vs. AI, not in Normal, not in Ranked, and you can't force people to follow it.
I don't seem to recall the banning option "Playing Veigar as Support".
Veigar has a lot going for him with a stun that many champions would wish they had instead of their ulti, damage scaling of enemy ap (making it possible to do surprising amounts of damage), poke (even if only through an unreliable w) and decent short trades with aa + q. Now I am not saying he is a perfect support champion but in terms of what you want from a support he actually does a decent job and maybe even better job than things like alistar

You need to learn to accept things as they are. You yourself admitted this Veigar did well. Maybe you should start thinking outside the box. Also, your attitude is deplorable, i hope a riot employee sees this and i hope your teammates reported you.
As for your meta argument, meta is meant to evolve and allow for a multitude of strategies, that change over time.
Would you also flame at me for picking Urgot support, even though in normals I have a 100% win rate over more than 50 games?
I saw kass top, akali top, gragas supp, riven mid, kog mid, and many others in challenger stream. Challenger should be banned or OP just an attention whore
Still remains true. THERE IS NO SKILL WITH VEIGAR SUPPORT.
Meta is why this bloody game is better than Dota. Meta need to be enforced because it is important.

I'm pretty sure that the meta is burst assassins that take little skill, wreckface ADC's that make it pointless to choose the other 10 ADC's available, and super bruisers with 240 damage and 240 armor. Oh, and super mobility.
