ranked flex queue issues

Ok so, yesterday me and my 2 friends played our first ranked flex game for this season, and i was surprised to see that after our first win i got platinum 1(last season i was gold 5 on flex) Today though, when i opened the client, there was a message that i got demoted to Bronze 3(all the way through plat1 :P) Why did this actually happen though?
