OK I FEEL AS THOUGH CAPS LOCK IS VERY APPROPRIATE FOR THIS RANT. VERY APPROPRIATE. TAKING DOWN DOMINION?/??? HAVE YOU BEEN HACKED RIOT/??? IS THIS AN EARLY APRIL FOOLS JOKE? BECAUSE ITS NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!! THIS IS FACKING RIDICULOUS RIOT, RIDICULOUS AT FIRST I WAS LIKE ok yah i guess people dont play anymore but why such the sudden announcment why not announce it maybe 2 months before hand so we actually have time to play this. THEN I READ THE ICON FOR 100 WINS AND WAS LIKE, OK RITO AT LEAST YOUR GIVING SOMETHING TO US TO ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS BELOVED GAMEMODE, I EVEN DID THE MATH FOR 20 MINUTES TO FIND OUT YES IN 12 DAYS IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET 100 DOM WINS AND GET THE ICON TO REMEMBER THEN!!!! I FIND OUT THAT ITS ONLY TODAY>????? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY JUST WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. now that my anger is out before anyone can even see this post your gonna take it down are you not? like all my other friends posts ranting about this topic were taken down in mere minutes. i hope you get to at least read this and know my feelings about this, this is just stupid guys. i always loved your game but i feel as though you are slowly ruining it. now im only going to play ARAM before you guys take that away as well. what dont think they will guys? teambuilder, now dominion whats next? i honeslty feel as though this is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake. i will cri everytime.

The icon is for the people who were already playing Dominion. It's today only so people can't just jump on the bandwagon for the free icon. If you could do that it would cheapen the value of it for the people who actually cared about Dominion. If you cared as much as you're attempting to portray then you'd already have enough to get the icon. I won't be getting an icon either, but I understand why they're doing that. 0.5% is how many they said play Dominion. Less for PvP. You aren't mad to see it go. You probably didn't even notice it until you found out it was leaving. You're upset because you want a free icon too. Let the people who cared about it have their gift. They deserve it for actually playing the game mode. They're the ones who will miss it when it leaves. That's why they are the ones being rewarded for supporting it.

It's almost spooky how I can imagine this coming true. I quit after TB was taken out and just check for alerts of it being brought back though.
