False mastery champion points.

Can anyone explain me why champion points I get after a match are calculated based on my team (win/lose) not based on me, my game and how I played that champion? That are CHAMPION points, not TEAM's SOMETHING points. A true example from past two games. 22/3, almost carre, most activity in team (and more than anyone in opponents), led the team, large split push, objectives etc. (lose) - less champion points than > 3/11, absolutely get carried by team mate, did nothing special, was playing like a shi.t (a lot of missplays), usefull just in teamfights in late game - 1600 points. Riot lovely Games.

Your ability to use a champion is based on how well you can use that champion to facilitate a win, not on how big you can get your kda (although they're often related). If you're constantly bailing on your teammates or leaving them in shitty situations in order to preserve your own grade, then it'll drag you down in the long run anyway.

That said, mastery points come in a great abundance, and it's just a matter of grinding for a week (potentially less if you're actually decent on the champ) and you can get mastery 5 on anyone even if you're actually trash at the champion. It's S ranks that are potentially tricky, but even those only need a handful of stompy games.

Your Champion Mastery points are based on your performance and if you win, there isn't a problem there because you weren't able to use your champion to pull out the victory. As for the "getting less mastery points than a 3-11, that depends on the 3-11's assists and damage. If they were bad then he/she still got less than you in the C- range.

Game doesn't reward losers bro. You were a loser and therefore got loser mastery points. Don't be such a loser bro.

Is this trolling? Because even if his team lost this guy was playing really well in the first game and should have gotten more of a reward than when he didn't do well but still won. No offense, main author guy.

Playing well doesn't change the fact that he lost and should get rewarded as all losers do in this game.

I personally think that they should reward people for what they do. Yes, he should get dinged for losing, but he should be getting more mastery points for the game he lost because of how well he did as his own player.

We already have enough mastery farmers who almost don't team play at all, who escape fights at the drop of a hat, who only ever engages when the outcome is almost guaranteed to be favourable, who ditch teammates readily whenever things are turning remotely south, who don't do things like throwing themselves away to rush down or steal an important objective, who never initiate engages and dance around waiting for others to do it so they can go pick up kills and assists etc etc.

And you want to make to even worse?

Nah, I don't agree.

EDIT: I thought OP was talking about mastery rank farmers. Soz. Though I guess what I typed above may still be applicable? Idk. I will just leave it there.
