We should be able to use emotes through chat

I love emotes, I think it was a fantastic little addition to the game and I use it all the time.

That being said, I feel like I don't have access to ENOUGH EMOTES. Seriously. I just stopped buying emotes even though some really neat ones came out because I've already filled my emote wheel.

Being locked into a game with only 5 options can't possibly cover the range of expressions I want to convey during the game.

• I just slam-dunked with darius but I don't have the "You're Next" emote?
• Support sacrifices himself to save me and I don't have the "Goodbye, Friend!" emote?
• Picked Kench but didn't take the "Unbenched"?

My suggestion: You should be able to freely assign chat shortcuts to emotes. For example:

• If I write in chat "/dunk" ---> "You're next"
• "/zoe" ---> "Goodbye friend" Etc. etc.

P.S. Give a medal to whoever came up with the M'Pengu one.
